al-Sahaf, Mohammed Saeed Mohammed Saeed al-Sahafal-Sa·haf, Mo·ham·med Sa·eed /æl səˈhɑːf, məʊˈhæməd sɑːˈiːd/ (1940–) an Iraqi politician and diplomat, who was information minister during Saddam Hussein’s government. During the 2003 war in Iraq, he became famous for making statements about the war that were not true.
